It does look nice in the pics, Josh. Maybe post something in the Jersey State thread and see if someone can check it out for you?
I've heard that the stock clutch on the M62 slips as it ages. I don't think even a fresh clutch (they're getting hard to find, as well, I'm guessing it's a Mercedes part?) delivers all of the boost that it should. And a smaller pulley isn't an option, without deleting the clutch. What if you could put a stronger clutch on a larger s/c?
Are you supercharging?! And yes a Mercedes parrt. There is a thin 1 mm washer between the electromagnetic plate ans the splines I got rid of that. 1mm closer to the pulley makes a closer contact for the electromagnet. The pulley can be machined down relatively cheaply, and you can port it with ease, or just delete the clutch.
An m90 will even be almost too much.
Hardy-har, Phen. Realistically though, I don't really want to pay $400 to drive Peaches' MSM a couple times and hope nothing breaks while I'm out there.
I'd rather pay $400 and flog my own car and break it. lulz

I thought he was talking about Auto-X actually... so $40. But i fully know what you're saying.
I can't wait until April. I might have to come out to the first NORA event like I did last years and break the rust off me for the late April NWOR event. Back to smack talking Adam aroundHopefully my parts will be coming in a week or two, but I'm waiting for tires, maybe wheels until my tax money comes in. I really want to do a NASA event at Mid-Ohio, but honestly I know nothing about the class organizations. All I have is my autoX experience, a sweet handling MSP, and the Mid-Ohio course ingraved in my inner skull (so my brain senses the curves in the course). Only 2 more months!
sell all cars. buy a van. autox it.
