The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Your car is quiet and sounds deep and nice. his sounds like cheap hooker farts

Edit: I just heard what his car had on it and just now listened to that video. I stand by my previous statement. Kieth also said thats the exact setup he wants.

I saw that and agree with ya there. Like Denvers video of his MS6 back on the road with the redone exhaust, I think it sounds like poo.

Then again, I shouldn't talk. I still don't know what my car sounds like outside of the cabin.

I think his exhaust would sound better if it wasn't the stock Catback with the mufflers deleted.

Then again, I may be biased 'cause mine is just obnoxious

I'll have to get a clip at WOT. This is part throttle, 12psi on the flyby

Evans exhaust has a nice deep tone on start up. But my exhaust is so Damn loud, I can't ever hear anyone else's unless it's Jake in front of me on the highway

to make will happy. I'd like to get info from people that i 'know'. The CX7 forum is quite dead/non-existent here:

I'm waiting till funds are available, but i really want to do an OCC. The Stage 2 kit from JBR looks pretty good:

I haven't looked, but i'm not sure how easy it is to get the pcv. I'll prolly email JBR when i get the funds, to see if the instructions include the removal (which i'm sure they do).

Where is the general consensus on where everyone installs theirs?

Not sure about the install on the CX-7, but it was pretty straight forward. When you order from Jamie, tell him you are a personal friend or family for that matter! Let me know when you are going to order it.

I think it was 113/114.............maybe you should bring the DB Meter to the Motors of Mayhem and see who has the loudest exhaust for the hell of it!!!!

Didn't they have a sound competition last year? What was everyone bringing their cars up for again, I forgot...

The LS should technically be quieter than straight pipes just because of the x-pipe. But it's mostly straight, the resonators at the end don't seem to do too much. I could always go open header. THAT is loud lol.

Who has a decibel meter!? I've always wanted to get one.

At the last car show my MSP was at 112db. Louder than I thought it was, but I have a full cat too. The little T25 takes out some of the sound too.

I doubt if I have MSP#2 runming before you get another car Nate if the weather is going to be like this for the next week or two. Wish I had a garage to work in :(
