The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

LOL I think you don't see FCs all that often for a reason.

Most get slammed with stupid colored wheels that don't properly fit and are thought to be drift cars...

Come to the dark side....

On a side note I learned a little bit about converting an auto miata to a manual this weekend lol.

Yeah... that it's a total pain in the dick, right?

I'm going to ignore that first comment lol.

And yes. It is. The pedals are the worst part.

Guys, the site has not been updated, the event is this Thursday @ PIR from 4-8 PM. Should be fun

BCR stuff today :) Anyone know which wire on the protg to run the wires for the lights on my gauges into. I don't have a multimeter at my parents. How can I have everything but that in the garage? FAIL!

I'd be an awesome trucker except i fall asleep a lot while i'm driving.
-Story mode-
I once began falling asleep at the wheel on my way home from either aimlessly driving around or aimlessly driving around after aimlessly hiking around, and as i began to slouch over and close my eyes i thought about the car in front of me. I though, "i could get home quicker if i push the gas pedal all the way down, but then there's this car in front of me. The front of my car would probably bump into the back of that car"
Then i stared into the back of that car, which for some reason i remember being a miata although i know it wasn't a miata, and to my amazement i had indeed pushed the gas pedal almost all the way down and was about to bump into the back of whatever that car was. Ever alert, i slowed down and avoided bumping into anyone.
I probably started falling asleep again maybe 5 minutes later...
-end story mode-
(story mode story is meant to be read with a funny story telling accent and over dramatized)

now i drink like 5-10 cups of coffee every day to stay awake, or eat a bunch of funny snacks while i'm driving. Trucker!!!!!!
(pro tip: acting like a trucker and yelling "trucker" can also keep you awake)

nice miatas- i want a mariner blue one...

Silly Ricers. Hahaha. There's so much more to driving then going down the road. It's not physically demanding but mentally. An the crap you have to deal with from other trucks and four wheelers can get annoying. Don't get me wrong it's not a tough job just very taxing. An as far as road trips does going places for work count, because I've been to every state in the lower 48 states. An as far as snacks I like beef jerky, sunflower seeds, water, Powerade, Mountain Dew, and twizzlers. That's my opinion on the matter.

the purple has been finished, took me a while with SEVERAL detours fixing other parts on the car and such BUT they are finally finished
ill try to wash the car tonight or tomorrow and get the Nikon out for a "proper" shoot haha

Lip died this past winter hooning in a muddy field LOL OOPS
and roof rack gets used daily to haul the bike, its not coming off anytime soon

Not really digging the purple. I liked the copper it was before and voted for teal before.

How was everyone's weekend? What did everyone do?

Purple!!!! whooooooo!!!!
Purple is the colour, if it's gotta' be a colour (which everything probably has to be) purple's the way to go.

I wanted to make my valve colour some sort of nice shiny darker purple colour, that and my racing harts... i thought that would look nice on a sunlight silver car, and then i'd be...

... HAPPY!!!!! :D :D :D :D WOOO!

nice wheels... yo.

Oh, over the weekend i visited my grandma/relatives and had to eat some awful chinese food they suggested.
Thinking about it makes me want a new stomach, but it's enough to turn me off from eating again (at least while i'm thinking about it) so perhaps that's the key to how i'm going to lose weight... think about awful chinese food and avoid eating?

id say hold final judgement til i can wash the car and do a quick photoshoot. i like it but i dont like it as much as the copper orange, ill leave this color the rest of the year and then see how i feel about them

I can live with the rack as long as the other things go back on levi!

and i went to Makinac Island in the U.P. and had a blast!

Friday night was yard work, and digging up fence posts
Saturday was helping a friend remove wall paper and painting their living room and dining room
Sunday was inside house work and I was supposed to clean the wifes car out, but didn't get to it.

Did more car stuff, bone fire, and doing more car stuff today. I'm trying to do all of the things I've wanted to do or need to do that cost little to no money. She is shaved and wingless, and about to have no front lip and side skirts. Going for the ES sleeper look lol, at least until the body work is done and either gets vinyl wrapped or painted.

Weekend was long, went to INDY, crewed for SpeedSource and i-Moto.....on my feet for both races! I got to kiss the bricks!!! Hung out with Lauri's family and I have to order a new tire for the MS3, as the crappy ass Dunlop has worn to the cords on the inside! The TPS light came on and I found that the tire pressure was @ 43PSI, while the others were at different pressures..needless to say, I have put the Conti's on the car and they ride so much better.

Found out what the issue us with the MSP! The oil return line to the oil filter has a major leak, it is not at the coupling but it is underneath the black sheath, so I will have the line cut and have the coupling refitted. I also have to get a new radiator, as the fan created a hole in the radiator, so now I have to order Mishimoto slimeline fans and shroud!
Good thing the radiator is warrantied for life! So, life goes on and so do I!
