Just out of curiosity how much does a new speed engine cost?
I heard about $4500 from Mazda with an employee discount. Or $3500 shipped from Mazda through Mazdaspeed.

Nathan or anyone else. There is a very clean, un-molested, and stock MS6 for sale here in bellefontaine. Has 70,xxx miles for 13.

The MSM is running fine, no issues there. That's how my speed3 ended up.

I might be interested in the block. I'm still debating on whether I want to pay to fix it or not. Only blocks I've found have well over 100k miles on them.

This is a 0 miles OEM Mazda long block. I bought it as a spare for my high mileage MS6. PM me and we can figure out a price if that's the route you would like to go. No pressure.

0 miles, but how many times have you humped that thing? I'd expect it to be clean, and check it with a black light before taking delivery...
