apparently Hostess is discontinuing a lot of their products (Twinkies, HoHo’s, Ding Dongs, and Hostess Cup Cakes, etc), so our development manager got us all some Chocodiles

Good....America needs less junk food!

I just heard that from my first patient this morning. he said for s**** and giggles he's going to go to the outlet store here in Parma and buy some Twinkies and freeze them for 10 years or so ... nostalgia! LOL they probably wouldn't go bad in that amount of time if you DIDN'T freeze them ... : / I grew up on Drake's Yodels and Crumb Cakes and they don't sell those out here ... so no great loss to me

ftfy. It's a bit more than discontinuing. Though, the individual popular brand names / bakeries / machinery will likely be bought up by other companies and come back under new management, unless I miss my guess.

Too busy to use google, I'm just going by the email I got. I just took one to get my vegetable and fruit ration for the day, as long as you consider “partially hydrogenated vegetable shortening” as a vegetable and “polysorbate 60” as a fruit.

I don't give the Blue Jackets much longer to stay here since this is the second lockout in thier short, losing tenure full of bad trades and unprofitability.

So I just found out that if Hostess is truly going under it will help us at my work. We work indirectly with little debbie and a bunch of other baking businesses which means there will be a higher demand for machinery that we fabricate. So this whole ordeal is sweet and sour at the same time.

i live in pittsburgh, i understand , i felt the pens were LONG GONE in the mid 2000's... luckily we got some freaking kickass owners in Burkel and Mario to buy the team and well the rest is history haha

+2 I grew up on Hostess. It doesn't show thanks to my god like matabulism Some friends last year had a twinkie eating contest in 2 minutes. I ate 12 twinkies and had a glass of beer and won the contest of course. I was dunking the twinkies in my beer. Definition of Delicous = Twinkies + Beer

I'm not so sure about the owner here, he's comitted to central ohio but I'm not sure how commited he is to the hockey team. A lot of people, especially Canadians were pissed Columbus got a team. There have been rumors from day 1 that the team was moving up north. With Winnepeg getting a team it's died down some but putting a losing team on the ice year after year and raising the ticket prices isn't helping the franchise.

I agree, their recipes just arent as good. maybe with hostess going down they will change their recipes
