The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I came up with mine when I was 12ish (whenever Goldeneye came out) thinking I was a genius. It's a play on James Bond's 007 so I"m o0n8 as in double O Nate but aol made you have a letter first hence the o then 0. It's my screen name for everything just about

Nerd Alert, "Prince Valorum" was originally the name of Darth Vader's character in one of the first drafts of what became Star Wars.

And why did everyone choose the avatar they have?

Wes, I still remember when Dean showed up at a cookout and was looking for teh girl in your avatar. So sad... lulz.

The kid in my avatar is flexing his Mazda Muscle.

I'll be changing it soon.

XCLR8TN = accelerating. Should be self explanatory if you've ever seen me in traffic. It was my license plate on my 1st car also.

Used to have "01rtgurl" (still do some places), first car + I'm a girl.

My name was my rate and rank while serving in the USN - Cryptologic Technician (Technical) third class - plus P5 for my car. Thought it was cool enough to have Barry (Jackelope) make some custom vinyl for me too. :)

The quill and lightning bolt crossed are the designation for a CT rate and the eagle and one chevron represent petty officer third class (two chevrons would represent a petty officer second class, three a first class and then on to Chief). Take away the anchors, the *not to be mentioned other forum name* and the P5 and that is what I wore on my sleeve.

Avatar is from when I had a flat tire last year, just never changed it.

Nope the inner connecters were the bumper connects with the grill.

I had figured you was a Bengels fan, but oh well. Just shows you that theory of Steelers fans is wrong. Although I do enjoy "footbal", alcohol, and drugs, as long as sex is a drug ;)

Well damn...worth a shot.

Jeff are you coming to LRP?

body panels so they don't rust, especially the rear quarters. That's just a crazy dream I have.

Rear quarters are structural and would require them to have the spot welds drilled out and taken apart. Then re-applied with industrial grade adheasive. It would be a huge pain in the ass and the size of carbon fiber needed for the piece would be monsterous. Unless you pieced and painted it, but even with that there is a lot of twisting in the shell itself when turning. It might not be able to handle the forces applied to it. It would probably cost an $$$$$ to do it, but it would be cool. I would almost need a donor car just to take it all apart to make molds for it. If it was a smaller car it would be a lot easier and more cost effective. You could always just overlay real carbon fiber after refinishing the original surface and give it a thick undercoat to keep the nasty salt off the surface. Should last your lifetime then.

My avatar came from an online comic that ended in '06, McHall. They moved on to other things, but the comic was pretty funny. It's still out there, but its a pain to browse from the beginning.

In other news, I received the appointment for biometrics (fingerprint and picture) for my naturalization application for next Friday. At this rate, I'll be a citizen by October.
