The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Does anyone have a transmission jack we can borrow for this coming weekend? Ivan, Jake and I are swapping out Jakes clutch.

Yup! We've gone before.....TONS of food!

Oh yeah, I just needed more money, haha. $23 didn't cut it after parking and admission! It's not somewhere to go to get full, but it's heaven for someone that loves burgers!

Great fun today, with, Josh, Steph and Sophia at the Aeros game.

I saw your 6 in the parking lot walking to the burger fest. I didn't realize it was right next to the stadium.

I've got one at the studio. I think my welder is sitting on it, but you could borrow it. It might be missing the strap to strap down the transmission, but you should be able to use a ratchet strap for that. When do you want it?

A Mazdaspeed3. I'm sure it's possible without the tranny jack, but it sure makes life easier. Worse case scenario they are $80 (without a coupon) from Harbor Freight. But figured I would ask before buying one I'll use twice.

edit- ballin, Wes. I'll send you a text. You're a life/back saver. (kiss)

Well, that is a transmission you want a jack for. Do you have a spare regular jack to use for that? There isn't much flat space to get a tranny jack on.

I moved my 6's transmission across the garage myself, and that was a mistake, heavy as heck.

No problem man. I assume it works. I think Cody got it on a craigslist trade for something else, and we tried to use it to jack something up, but whatever it was was too heavy and it wouldn't lift it, so I just used it to wheel my welder around. There's not really anything to go wrong with it. You just stick a ratchet (or impact if you're lazy) and run it up. It's got the scissor action, baby!

We used a HF tranny jack when swapping out Levi's clutch and flywheel and it worked fine, no worries.

I have a ticket that's suppose to fall off Saturday, but it still showing on my record on Progressive. Am I suppose to contact them and let them know or do I just wait? I'm hoping my insurance goes down a little bit. :)

^ Nick, some insurance companies are different than others when it comes to that kind of stuff
ie: when i was with Erie Ins. thy never cleared anything until i was up for renewal (every 6 months) but with State Farm, they adjust monthly... i started a "new" Policy July 15th, and when i turned 25 on July 22nd i got a letter in the mail saying they were adjusting my policy to show that i was now an "adult"
