Some corners your dad was taking wider lines than you & hitting the apex. You were kinda cutting the corners a little short & not using the whole track. Right around 8:50 for example, you can see your dad using the whole track, to where you cut it short. It's not overly bad, but you've got AWD to his RWD correct? It's also hard to get a real good lap time in when slower cars are holding you up.
I'm super jealous though. I wish i had a car for a road course & the money/time to go along with it. I'll just have to settle with doing AWD drifts in the 7 & a whole lot of ebrake action on the 'rolla while there's still snow on the ground.

I'd be scared of going off and tearing up the grass. They like to bill you for s*** like that at Barber.
but it is awesome to be in the passenger seat when that s*** happens (rofl)

I had that same issue when I borrowed your GoPro for Mid-Ohio. I believe I was able to combine videos inside of YouTube's video editor.

It's a file system limitation of FAT32, I need to combine the videos with Premiere Pro so I can use DashWare to add the gauges to it.
Not sure it reformatting the cards to exFAT would allow the camera to record longer, or if that would brake things completely. I have the same problem with my DSLR only it just stops at the max file size.
The grass was so wet when I was there, you were hitting something much more expensive than grass if you went off.
I highly recommend it, of course it is highly dependent on what you like. I prefer technical tracks like this or Mid-Ohio to somewhere like VIR.

I signed up for May, but I'd be interested in joining the trip to Barber in December. We'll see what else I can run in between.

I will most definitely do that! Autocross dates usually get set later on in the spring.
Both at Mid-Ohio:
NOR PCA in early May is typically $350 for both Saturday/Sunday.
NNJR PCA in mid-May is typically $350 for Friday - Sunday.
Sounds great! Registration was in October I believe, and it filled up within hours of registration opening. I'm on their mailing list so I'll let you know when they have updates about that event.

Gotcha, plus the $50 for not being a member. I want to go to Mid Ohio this next season but I want to make a trip to some other tracks too. that Fri-Sun one from NNJR looks like a frickin deal!
NNJR does a great job, they do charge maybe $50 more if you run in a group with an instructor as well I think. Their events at other tracks are equally affordable.
I'm not sure if they still do, but NNJR gave a $50 discount if you did 2 of their "long distance" events, or $100 discount if you did 3 back in 2010 when I went to VIR. Long distance for them is Mid-Ohio, Mosport, Watkins Glen, or VIR.
