While there are a ton of highly intelligent people living in the 'red states', if we're going to speak in generalities (which, because of the number of people we're talking about, there simply isn't much of a choice) you'll clearly see a distinct correlation. Is it valid? Debateable of course... but let's examine the facts.

By in large, many of the 'red states' fall into the low-end of the educational spectrum. Like it or not, it's a fact! The numbers simply don't lie. Now, if we take the premise that the majority of the folks that live in 'red states' are less educated than their 'blue state' counterparts, we can draw a reasonable conclusion that they're also less educated about political matters. Being less educated about political matters, in my book, means you don't deserve your vote as much as those who actually spent the time to learn the FACTS. Shoot that statement down all you want, but with an election as important as this, getting as much information about the candidates as humanly possible was priority #1 for me. Sure, it involved reading. (something that might be difficult for those who don't know how to) But in the end, I was able to formulate an oppinon based on information. (not just my 'gut'.)

In short...

LOW EDUCATION = LOW POLITICAL KNOWLEDGE = 4 MORE YEARS

Oh and one more thing... just like being black automatically allows you to say the N word without being stoned to death, my being born (and thankfully NOT raised) in Alabamba allows me to make fun of the dumb hicks down there... and get away with it!
