the friggen alarm is so embarresing!

someone please tell me how to turn the alarm off. It goes off everytime a loud car or motorcyle drives by.

should be a little white knob somehwere under the steering column. couterclockwise=less sensitive I believe

Its REALLY easy. As above- get down on the floor and look up under the column. There's a black box with a little white knob. Turn that knob counterclockwise a little. Get out and set the alarm. Kick the tire or rap your hand on the window until you get the desired sensitivity.

Mine used to get set off by the garbage truck when it went by- now it takes a fair knock on the car, but still is senstive enough to go off if someone's up to no good.

Good to know. Mine went off every damned day in the parking garage at work, and at home I live 5 miles from the airport. I just quit setting the bastard.

Doing this as soon as I get home...can I count this as my first mod?

By decreasing the sensitivity of the alarm you are gaining some valuable weight saving or more importantly mass savings.


I would go into more detail on the extract natural of this, however it truly has no benefit.

Now if it turns clockwise then I could write up a whole detail report on why it is a mod.

Ohhh I got one:
Just like flashing a MSP, turning down the sensitivity is a mod. You are helping to correct a problem that exist, thus you are "modifying" it from its factory condition. Well.....sorta of.

Morande SUCKS they did not pay off my trade in when I bought my car.
Did the same thing to a friend of mine.
