The 6 / MS6 Picture ONLY Thread (NO DISCUSSION!)

no s***? 18x8 and +38mm offset? Rubbing? or did you roll the fenders? Are your tires 225/40/10 225/35/18 or dare I say 235?

I figured it was a Canon Rebel, my GF has the same one, the pictures come out amazing.

rolled fenders no rubbing. i have 225 right now, but before i got those i had 235, still no rubbing. next summer i'll probably go with either a +42 or +45 offset and try to stick 245 or 255's there, I know one guy has 245's with no problems.

Thanks for letting me know, cause there's a pair of wheels I want, but they are +40 offset, so I wasn't sure if I could still run them on my 225/40/18s and not rub with rolled fenders, wasn't sure if the wheel would still stick out too far.

That wider stance is SEXY on these cars.

Oh and what is the guys wheel size and offset running 245s?

NICE...... he's running 18x8 with +42 offset and 245s?

Rolled fenders for sure, right?

I wouldn't think anything wider than 235s would fit. Damn.... does he have coilovers..... ya know, to minimize the suspension travel so they don't rub?

Does he have a thread with pics of his ride? Perhaps he's posted up on that wheel/suspension thread where people posted pics of wheels and suspension?

My speed6, just some updated pics that is........

God BLess
Michael

Gram Lights 57F wheels - 18 x 8.5, +45mm offset
Sumitomo HTR Z III 245/40/18
RPM K-spec springs with Koni yellows

slight roll on the rear fenders and no issues with the way I drive and my cargo (people/stuff) habits

That is NUTS, thanks man....... 245s...... DO WANT

Although I can see I'm gonna have to get my coilovers installed before I do that, I have Megans Racing springs on the car right now, and I do 225/40/18.

How do you like those Grams Lights?

There are actually a few guys with MS6s running around with 245s.... I'm thinking of going to 255s next.... but we'll see how these work out over time and I'll decide when it's time - I might even step down to 17s as well!

There's a guy going much wider on 6 club.... 18x10.... hopefully it turns out for the best....

18 by 10? that is ******* nuts. I've thought about doing 18 x9.5 cause there's some wheels I REALLY want, but when I measure and look at the offset, it doesn't look like it will work unless I put on coilovers and set them stiff enough to avoid travel down and rubbing the tires :(

If you don't mind could I see some side pics and pics from the front to see how the wide tires look on these cars?

Thanks a bunch. (2thumbs)

I really want to rock out some 18x8.5" Rota SVN's on my MS6, but i'm worried about rubbing severely. I'm hoping that with the different parts used on it might be more forgiving than with a regular 6.

It is possible, you just may want to get some springs and struts or coilovers for that setup. I really want to run some 245s, I love those meaty looks of wide tires!!

just a few of the ms6 with some of my friends with their (red)evo 8 and (slvr) evo9

I'll see if I can get some pictures up sometime over the next week or so.... I'll also have to check inner suspension clearance as well while I'm at it to make sure wider will fit.

8.5" wheels are not a problem on this car, especially if you don't mind rolling the fenders (some people are picky about this issue) and/or if you have a reasonable ride height/spring stiffness.

some very nice rides in this thread (cool) the Red one rollin in the rain takes the cake for me. i hope yo have mine in the next month or so. i know all the options i want, but the hardest part is choosing a color. every color looks so damn good. oh, BTW, i'm new here. (hi)
