well was outside installing the bike rack today and decided to take it for a spin around the court to see if it would hold up.

Its 90 degrees out and it didnt even cross my mind to take my lip off after the little test fit. It held on tightly, (40 degrees at midnite when I had first tested it)

Seeing as how luck is nonexistent for me, the lip popped off on me when turning around in the court. I ran it over with all both axles, all four wheels.

Needless to say the urethane totally held up and the scratches on the lip are very miniscule!

I have no doubt in my mind if I can do that this lip will take anything.

Two thumbs up for urethane!(nana)

yikes!!!

i got mine back from the shop today and of course it starts raining as soon as i get home. i hate not having a garage!

the people i talked to said they dont guarantee urethane lip painting because of its maliability and the likelyhood of the paint cracking on it

is yours aright so far?

You're lucky! The first lip I received was broken right out of the box. The second one I had broke after leaving a gas station with a steep exit. Luckily, I was able to get if fixed so you can't even tell it was broke. I'll post pics of what it looked like broken when I find them.

that red one's definately fiberglass... urethane couldn't do that...

It's urethane, it's the AutoExe. Purchased it from AutoRnD. Yeah I was surprised too. Like I said, the first one I got was broken right out of the box, into two big pieces. I wasn't too upset that the second one broke (more so at myself) because if it had been fiberglass, it most likely would have shatterd into smaller pieces. Mine just lost one big chunk, which I went back and picked up off the road. I friend of mine pretty much put it back together like a puzzle, looks perfect again.

no...Fiberglass couldn't do that. That lip is ripped...

FG cracks and shatters, Urethane rips and bends.

I used to have two FG lip, damged one and damged the second one. First one damaged after I spun out in snow. Second one was hit by a shredded truck tire at 65-mph.

So... no more FB for me... just no more...
