i have a 2009 mazdaspeed 3 Im deciding on some titanium bronze tenzo cuzco ver 1 in 18x 8 with a 45 offset but wanted to get the 37 offset was just wondering if u think if I would have issue with rubbing or fitment problems with that low of a offset or should I just stick with the 45 offset. Cause I want that concave look any feedback and advice will be greatly appreciated thank you.

The stock suspension will be your downfall. It is quite mushy and you will hit the fender in the rear. A roll would stop the fender from cutting the tire but I'd imagine you would still rub on large dips or when you had passengers/cargo.

I have 225/40/18 tire with Tenzo 18/8 and 45 offset will not rub and you will love the improvement in handling with some more sticky tire. The 235 in rear might be too much for the fender. You could use the 235 in the front though. I am also running Cobb springs which advertise a 1" lowering from stock. I am not aware of anyone who could run a 37 at all. Hope i helped a little

i like the concave look and just wondering will the 37 offset have a bigger concave or does the offset just push the wheel out with the same concave. and is the only way to have a nice concave is to get wider size.

I run the exact same setup but with H&R's, not one rubbing problem yet and I love the look.

This is something that varies depending on the manufacturer. I would imagine with a cheaper wheel company like Tenzo they just add or subtract material from the mounting pad to change offset as opposed to having 2 separate molds. I could be wrong however, contact them and find out.

so a wheel spacer will surve as the same purpose as offset then with these wheels so if i get the +45 and figure i have room to play without modification a 8mm wheel spacer would just act like the 37 offset then.

Correct.

EDIT: If at all possible I would not run the spacer if I didn't have to. If the wheel is available in the offset you want to run then just buy it in that offset.

concavity

I agree about spacers. But as for the cheap ass Tenzos the material is machined off the wheel/hub mating surface i believe. (sssh)

Tenzo's aren't cheap, maybe compared to SSR's or Volks, but not too many on here can afford those.

Tenzo's are cheap. The only thing Tenzo has going for it is at least their designs are somewhat original and not just blatant ripoffs of other companies like Rota.

good wheels

I still like mine. they are lighter than stock by alittle. The stock tires and wheels weigh in at about 45lbs and the 18/8 ( wider wheels ) and a wider tire 225/40 weigh in at about 39lbs on my bathroom scale. even if that scale is off, the difference in rotational mass is pretty darn good and they have held up very well with about 20k on them of abuse.

IMO spending over a grand on wheels is ******* stupid. Yeah, your hot s*** till come out to the parking lot and find your ****** ms3 on logs.

Also. Wheels are specifically for looks on this car. IMO the "cheap" tenzo's look ALOT better than half the volks/ssr's these people are running that belong on a 67 drop top impala, not a speed 3. And you cant claim volks are lighter blah blah, 90% of the people with volks/expensive rims are running merely an intake/bov or some similar mix so going faster obviously isn't priority.

Whatever you have to tell yourself at night.

I would be mad too if I dropped 3k on some ugly wheels and turned a 14.3 in the 1/4....
