tekkies car build

I got these from someone who got them from a race team

they are made by multimatic, they are 46mm pistons with bilstein self adjusting internals

I am thinking I am going to lower the spring rates in a hurry lol because we both know the roads SUCK in MI, what spring rates do you have?

here is a pic of the fronts

and one of the rears

Mine were 275 front / 325 rear with Bilstein inserts and they were very stiff.

Also, you said your springs were 500/550 but according to your picture the fronts are 450 lb/in, not 500. Your rear springs weren't pictured.

If you swap spring rates you will want your shocks re-valved.

ah yeah your right, they are 450 and 500

ah we will see, I might go down to 250/300 or something, right now I want to get the motor in and get the car running, worry about the suspension after

Hahahaha, I remember having that exact same POS phone that needed to be replaced every 3-4 months. But when you spend all your money on your car, a nice phone is not a high priority.

I love the setup that you will be running and I hope you put down some excellent numbers.

meh its a company phone, this one is working much better than the other 2 I had lol

I have a couple other pda systems that I am testing out now which are better :)

rich is having things handed to you, this is having a good job and alot of planning ;)

I agree with Tekkie. Its not that sime of us that mod are rich. I just plan well financially, and save...

woo hoo my gtx gears came today, but I wont get to work on the car until saturday or sunday :( ughh I hate work lol

well finally the gtx gears, quaife lsd are in the tranny and the tranny is mounted back onto the motor

I got the spec flywheel and cluch stuck on there, along with the fs-ze IM that I ported out a little, and also added the NSN thermal spacer

all of the gauge sensors, oil - coolant lines are on, and the connectors for the oil and tranny coolers are bolted up

Yum. Super nice work on your oil/coolant lines. I like how you tied the braided goodies into the factory msp hookups. Do you have a shot of the fitting you used to connect the new oil drain line to the block?

Diggin the whole thing.

actually I used the stock adapter :) but I added in another T so I could put the oil pressure gauge in there also

I had to plug that other coolant line that used to goto the stock oil cooler which is that other adapter you see there on the T

this pic is a little better but not much

Damn nice work. That is such a clean way to do it. You might want to consider a little heatshield/wrap/sleeve type deal on the drain line there by the DP though.
