Tein or Eibach/Tokico?

The ride with eibach/'blues is fine - not hard or jouncy. Nice (but not dramatic) improvement in handling. Closed the wheel gap nicely.

From what you describe - this is the set up that would work well for you (IMHO).

Are the Illuminas a better shock than the blues? I see they are adjustable.. how so?

the blues are just as good as the illuminas u just cant adjust stiffness..... which is y i opted for passing on that options and just got the blues .

edit : also i have the espelir springs with them, might be a lil cheaper and if your using it for a daily driver i can reccomend this setup.

You don't need to do all that work to adjust if you do it right. Just drill a hole in the seatbelt thing and in the rubber boot. I did that for mine and I can adjust the rears in a couple seconds. I can take pic's if you need to see.

but who cares about being able to adjust stiffness. i understand if they were badass coilover set and u wanted to set up for autox or somthing but daily driving i have never wanted to adjust my set up, perfectly fine with it

I do. I go up to the canyons often and like to have a stiffer ride up there than compared to the streets.

The Blues are like #2 setting on the Illuminas. I have the Illuminas with the H&R sport springs. Awesome setup. Dont know about the eibachs.

i would agree with him and 71dsp on the H&R's, I love the feel of mine, but I don't use Illuminas or Blue's I have KYB struts and they work pretty good together...but that is just my opinion. (thumb)

I read 2 but I could be wrong. If you have money and you want something nice just get a coilover setup.

Wow, you guys have really helped a great deal. Rep points to all! Think I'm pretty much sold on the Tokico Illuminas, as I can set them as firm as the blues, and back them off if that's to stiff of a setting. Now to decide between the eibachs, Tein S-techs, and the Tanabes. I know the Eibachs look nice and have a good reputaion, but the Teins sound pretty tempting, and give a -1.8 / -1.5 drop.

I got the Eibach Sportlines on my speed, they are linear as well, got them for $213 shipped, the drop is 1.8-2.0 inches. Ken, when we meet next week, you can check them out.
