Just got these they should be installed in a few weeks as long as I can get a nice weekend and my endlinks show up on time. I'm looking at a 1.5" drop should be enough to cover up my wheel gap and give it a nice look and ride.
I'll try and get a free hand to take some pictures.

Lookin good, you gonna do the install yourself? Let us know how it goes and how the new ride is!

I just installed mine last weekend. You will love them!! Where did you buy from?

I am planning on doing the instal myself. I've done a few coil overs in the past this shouldn't be that different. Actually mine kind of "fell off the back of a truck".

How so?

1.5 is just an initial set up to make sure my tires don't rub. If it works I'll go to 2+ once again depending on what works.

Jeg.. I'm not sure what the "how so?" refers to. But I think its the Fell off the back of the truck you were questioning... I didn't think it needed explaining but I bought them from a guy who doesn't operate on the up and up

I'm rocking the standard height recommended in the instructions. I am still tucked with the stock 17's on the MP3! With the standard height, your springs in the back will be pre-loaded.

lol, thats cool. So you got a good deal? You should hook us up! lol

And what tires are you running? I have 205/40/17 and they wont rub at all, I filled up the rear with people and the wheel fit nicely in the well, it was pretty close to the side wall though.

Yeah got the set for $200. I would hook up everyone up but this guy is pretty shady and it took almost a yr for him to trust me so time would be an issue.
I'm running 205/35/18, I was thinking about having the fenders rolled by a local body shop that does amazing work, so that I won't have any issues. but I'll see how the drop goes first

Damn....hook us up man!

DAMN!!!! I thought I had a good deal with $1000 2 years ago. I would do the fender rolling, my 18's rubbed like a mofo and it took me about 2 months to find a set of 17's wheels I liked with the right bolt pattern, and offset that didn't.

Yeah I didn't question when he told me the price, just handed over the cash.

I talked to a guy in Maryland who just had a "fender rolling meet" and I can rent the tool for $50 plus a $250 deposit and do it myself, he said it was easy, and it is cheaper than having my body shop do it. They wanted 200-300. If anyone else in interested here's the website

im have skunk2 coilovers with tokicko illumna struts and they make alot of noise so i jus found out they do that with mazdas! which sucks...but do any of you kno a way to fix the noise and if not then what coilovers would you recommend that arent expensive as crap cuz i want to stay with adjustable coilovers!

You have to pay to play man. You get what you pay for. I myself am rolling with the Tein SS Coilovers.

I just pulled my Teins SS off, because I'm trading my car in soon. I would like to sell them locally but if I can't find someone then I was going to post a F/S thread. If your interested I'll post some more info including pictures.
