Nice looking car. Can you fit GT35 with stock rad + fan etc?

I make a manifold for the Honda S2000 which is intended for the GT35 and they make huge low end torque + top end HP. Nice turbo. If it fits without moving stuff I might make a manifold to suit it.

Well the Radiador its brand new from the dealer and it is a 2004 Mazda protege 5 Model and the fans where replaced with Hi performance Ultra Slim 12Radiator Fans, also thermostat housing where changed using the Hiboost one to make the downpipe fit, now the i know the right model of my turbo i have a Garrett GT3582R Turbo, and the results are just speechless, these turbo have so much power at low end and top end that its incredible. at the beginning i had my doubts about the size, but the best partner to these turbo its a good head work, good exhaust and good tuning, these monster barely have any lags and when it kicks in at around 3,800 rpm there is no way back, its just pure fury, i really have no words to describe how fast and how much power these Giant produce to our FS Engines, definately the best Turbo for these engine with the supporting bolt ons. forget about GT28RS Disco Potatoes, if you want real power and its my daily driven car, i have no other to use, its awesome you wont be dissapointed if you are looking for pure adrenaline, and massive low end and high end power and torque these is what you need. Garrett GT3582R

Well, I'm pretty sure he was offering to make a better mani for your car than the one you have. Not saying its bad but, steedspeeds work is pretty much untouchable when it comes to quality work and great design. Check out his thread where is making a mani for the msp. http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123688670&page=11

i was also refering myself about the turbo, not the hiboost manifold i have, i just open the link you posted, and yes, looks amazing the manifold hes fabricating, i was just explaining the power of the GT3582R turbo im using in my MSP and the power that makes, im very impress about his manifold looks insane..

2004 Protege 5? I hear much of these but seen none.

well i still remember when i bought my speed back in October 2003 that was the last year of production of the msp and they where still making the Mazda Protege 5 a whole year after 2004 to be specific. I can discuss about MSPs but not Pro 5 since i dont have one, but at the dealer ive seen 2004 Pro 5 and Parts for it at the Parts deparment

Hahahaa I need to fly down to Miami so I can drive ur car back up to Maryland...I like what ur doing. As soon as I start my project I'll let u know. Awesome ride!!

Jaja.. Thanx B.I.G for always being there watching my project out. These little Demon Child its going to a Hot Import Night show overthere in Miami, and lets see how it performs against the bigboys. TBK its going to expose it i guess showing their work done to the car, im not really sure if TBK its taking the car to compete in any category or to win something, ive never been in those type of shows so, what i can tell you from now is that i feel like the biggest s*** for not being able to be there with my new toy after waiting such a long time for it and Pimp it at the show. but i guess my dad will cover my back being there to represent me and my Demon Child Instead, I told my dad, a few friends of mine and TBK to take MAD pictures of the car and videos of it at the show, i wanna see what others think about it.

Yeah, tell TBK to take plenty of pics of the engine bay...I'm trying to finish putting together this turbo kit. I talked to Corksport and they can put together the fmic and a radiator plus piping for about a grand...

Well its not that bad, corksport its good, but as you can see i have bigtoys in it, and i dont have the aluminum Radiator, which can save you lots of money, i think you dont need it. im not saying its bad, im using P5 radiador and cools like a champ, but if you can afford it go for it, its a good combo, but rather the AWR Radiador instead, and probably Hiboost FMIC, but Corksport its good though

I wanted to keep my ES radiator (which I think is the same as the P5) but I was told that I would have to eliminate the 2nd fan, which I don't wanna do. If I use the msp fan I might have cooling problems, which is not an option on a daily driven car. I'm using a fmic instead of a smic because I'm not trying to move the a/c condensor and the a/c lines. U know I'm not going all out like you are so...if you can think of a better way, u know I'm all ears!

Just a little correction. The Protege and Protege 5 did not have a North American 2004 Model.

If you're not getting boost until 3800RPM, that's laggy man. You say "no lag until 3800RPM" but I can push 12psi by then on my T3 60 trim. (I know it's medium vs/ large frame turbos) but still, saying there's no lag is misleading people.

Also, you will need a better rad. I live in Canada and I need one, in Miami in the summer you're ******... Once again I ask (referring back to the AWR oil pan) if you've already spent that much money, why not?

Naw...in '04 that's when they switched to the 3's.

well i guess you guys are right, but i've seen in Ocean Mazda In Miami Florida a Few Mazda protege 5 with 2004 sticker in the windshield, most likely the dealers sucks a fat D++K..... Stealers, liers....

Honesltly it feels so furious when the turbo kicks in that i have to hold my self hard ass hell to the steering wheel and barely see the speedo or tach, but for me 3800 rpm aint laggy, when i had my tock T25 boosting over 26 psi, yes out of its efficiency range it felt the same to me than now, well these turbo its 100 times bigger and stronger but i don't feel the different when it comes about spooling. if you really think about it the car at idle it self its around 750-900 rpm while you hit the gas pedal from lets say 1000 rpm to 3800 hundred aint all that laggy men, atleast i don't feel it that way. these is just the impressions i have based on what i have in my msp

I just got my CS radiator Tuesday...I will post pics of the install and show comparisons to the PWR aluminum radiator. I wanna say you should upgrade your radiator to be on the safe side. Shipping to Spain I think is gonna be expensive.
