Two failed open injectors means another problem with crud in the fuel system. Check your fuel pump sock or add an in-line filter to the fuel line...

Dismantle and clean the injectors yourself (google 'how to' - i am sure it is out there)...

I question your mechanics diagnosis,..... I thought if an injector is fouled up, it plugs right up and stops fuel flow or seizes the injector open ??? You said you heard all of your injectors 'clicking' so they're not seized ,.. right ??? Two injectors "fouling" open at the exact same time, while both are still clicking, that just happen to be on the same coil ??? What are the odds of that ???

Did your mechanics or you test for spark on the two bad cylinders ???

I'm really quite inclined to suspect a bad wire feeding the coils,... a bad wire (or connection on it) can be intermittent.

I say test for spark to be sure.

The injectors were clogged/blocked in the open posistion , replaced them, changed the oil car running fine . the mech pulled the injectors and fuel rail out . turned on the key and the 2 injectors were just spraying away.

I agree with diagram dude - the chance that two would fail open is very rare, but troubleshooting indicated it... If another injector fails - inspect the fuel system!

Well,... I guess your fuel system coughed up a big 'blood clot' that plugged up two at the same time,... Maybe the near empty gas tank had something to do with it. I would recommend seafoam now,... It should help dissolve any remaining buildup in the fuel system.
