Anyone out there used one on the FS-DE??????

My shop RPMNYC loves to use that turbo. Custom trim. 4" inlet. HUGE.

I am interested to see if anyone has researched that perticular turbo for the FS-DE. So far, the biggest I have seen on the FS-DE is a T3/T4.

I am selling one. I was going to use it for my Drag P5. But if your interested in buying one ill sell it for a good price. PM me

mp5jeff....the T04b is a mitsubishi...you should mention that...as you will confuse everyone again (remember what happened last time) :)

Turbo p5 mine explaining what you have done to your trannsmission?

i remember reading about a to4 something in a fd. it apparently made that car insanly powerful. fd's do way better as a single turbo rather than twin turbo

Yeah...T04E are big. I know they can work with our motors. I have seen B16's running them..

I have seen those too, but th thing that sucks is they dont spool until 4000 rpm.

Garret has a TO4b

Raazz i used a TO4E on my hybrid. 57 trim. about 50lbs per hour on that one. Stage 3 turbine. So it spooled nicely.
They have some nice ballistic TO4E that should spool a little better for a 2.0
The garret GT series are really nice

Damn keep this thread going. I want to know more on how it will affect our motors. After I get all the shiznit I need from Spoolin then i will strap on a big honkin T04E. Only problem I know I will run into is emmissions check here in TN. So I pretty much know I can't run the Microtech & I guess that's gonna eliminate the TO4 unless I could get away with using the Greddy E-Manage that Spoolin has

NO T3 .63 STAGE III and 57 trim TO4E comp. There is no need for anyhting bigger. This is enough compressor for 650 WHP. CANT BEAT THAT!

agreed. i have the same turbo as perf had but with a 50trim compressor. it is very heavy and the compressor housing is huge! i have to think that a t4 exhaust housing would be heavier again because of the sheer size. perhaps a t3/04e hybrid with a big a/r (.63) would be a better solution?

after all, the exhaust housing size should be chosen by how much gas you are gonna push through it and at what revs - our wee four bangers don't really push enough to utilise a t4 housing - theres plenty of scope within a t3 exhaust in my opinion, just get a bigger a/r if you want full boost to redline?
