Blue Bulbs

I am looking to get the cheap HID look, anybody know where I can find these bulbs cheap? I don't want something that will burn out in a month either. Links appreciated.

You might laugh when Tell you this but look for piaa rated in ebay.. Koba bulbs.. they have a 6 month warranty and my brother in law has them on his prelude... white platinum color.. and bright as hell. They only cost him 15 bucks shipped to his house, and that was 5 months ago.. they have a year warranty like piaa I believe. For the cash, and not, they are the best bulb I have seen for the hid look. Not blue like other bulbs..

I got my Silverstars at the local Autozone...Later,

Are they worth it, Do they look anywhere close to real HID's.
Do they sell them to replace the fogs to.

Yes they're worth it. Mine's been going for 3000+ km already and has not burnt out yet. Just make sure you get the same wattage rating for your car.

if you want pure light and longevity go with the silverstars, but there is another company... ummm SRAM or something like that, that makes the european silverstars. And the european silverstars dont have the blue filter film over them which is probably more of what you want. So do a search on ebay, but find out the real name of the company first.. I'm, not 100% sure thats the name of the company.. but anyway, they should cost the same considering its essentially the same bulb..

It's called OSRAM. The Silverstars dont' have a blue film on them. The Cool-blue bulbs do though. Hence the name.

OSRAM = Sylvania

=P

sorry... used to work for Siemens ... I'll shuddup now

I have the sylvania silver stars..pretty nice..especially for the price..i got them at advance auto parts..make quite the difference..

Visit the thread above, group buy on the Osram Silverstars. Osram/Sylvania is the same company. These are the Euro bulbs that don't have the blue filter over them and are brighter then the Sylvania Silverstars. Also H7 Sylvania Silverstars aren't widely available in the states right now if available at all. I got mine and I love them.

thats it OSRAM.... and yes the american bulbs from sylvania do have a blue filter on them... which is why I brought up the whole OSRAM thing .. I know its the same company, but slightly different product.. see above thread..
