Swift springs coming out this month!

:
MS3
These are pics of prototypes on day 1 of install but final ones are the same specs. These are on pre-sale right now. Since I can't advertise do a search on swift to find out more about how they differ from the rest. You can find more info about the pre-sale with a google search.

Any idea if they'll be releasing a non-speed version?

I dont think they would.. It would take a new thread to see if there is enough interest. If you do the leg work , i'll show them them the threads and they will say yes or no...I know you would be able to swap these, but i dont what the outcome would be as far as ride hide and such.

I can't believe my car was ever that tall!?!? It makes me sick to my stomach. Please, can we start a charity to lower all performnce vehicles? Looks good man.

Swift springs installed
Here are some pics

Swift next to OEM

Swift when car is on load (on the ground) in the front. The "progressive" portion is just there to fill a void I guess (fully closes) and becomes only a linear rate spring.

Car is on a slight downhill on passenger side. Red MS3 is R3L3NTL3S . Will be installing Swift springs on his car tomorrow

From our short drive. Car feels good. Smooth. Not bouncy. Took small bumps or imperfections on the road better/smoother. It actually rides smoother than stock. It doesn't have that jolt like the oem springs when going over small bumps/cracks or whatever. I will go for a longer drive later and get back with more. So far so good. Now I need 235/40 or 245/40's .. I hate how thin the stock tires are.

Car looks awesome specvspeedfreak..love the wheels, what are they? and whats the spec's on them??

Bremmer Kraft in bright silver. 18x8+45 (5mm spacers in the rear). weighs like 22lbs a wheel. They discontinued them. Tirerack only has them in black and chrome now. Wait for it go down in price (something I missed with mine).. would've got them for $112 a wheel if i just waited a month longer. Or just get the ASA GT5, same wheel even lighter (20lbs), better finish and made better since its shot peened. ASA makes the bremmer Kraft.

That sucks, I like those alot...have you seen the new Enkei wheel called Raijin?.. it looks pretty similar to yours also. I guess MAPerformance sold all the Swift springs?? I never did get a PM back from him.

these are the same wheels but in black.. just wait for the price to go down and snag them for cheap like I SHOULD of done lol

ASA Gt5 ..ASA makes bremmer kraft but quality is just better and lighter.

Don't like the one in black from ASA. but I guess you can paint the inside. Also if you don't like the bare lip on the black bremmer you can paint them as well

I see you looked them up under a RX-8 fitment..lol! no wonder I couldn't get the new ASA's to pop up for my speed3. I think I will go silver this time around, I had black mesh on my 09 speed3. I wish that the new ones had the same finish as yours, but o'h well..and thanks for the links.

actually the finish is something I don't like on mine lol. only cause in some angles and lighting conditions they look a lil chromy. but they look good overall. has a slight concaveness to them. and I look up rx8 when i research for wheels on these cars. Even then sometimes they are not aggressive enough.

If you decide that you want to sale yours let me know..im debating on the black, but im in no big hurry now that winter is setting in soon..think about it and get back with me.

Swift replied to a question I had about the progressive portion. This was what their reply:

"yes the progressive portion of the spring acts like a helper spring. It is fully collapsed at static height. And yes it is a linear rate."

he also mentioned that Bilstein sport would be the best way to go. I guess he was getting a lot of people calling to see what higher performing shocks/struts would be best. He contacted Bilstein and found out GREAT news. You can get it custom valved for FREE when you order them new. I contacted AJUSA.COM (probably Bilstein biggest distributors and cheapest price actually) to confirm, and indeed it is true. I asked what info they need. He said: spring rate (we have), curb weight (we know already) and corner weight (i emailed swift to get this info). With this info we can have custom valved high performance struts/shocks for our cars!

Now I need to find a way to buy these< ran out of money! lol
