03 P5
ok, i know the mods will probably move this, but the P5 guys suggested i lurk over here to get my answer. after lurking and searching for about a month, i still dont know the answer to my question.
im beginning to set my 03 P5 up to do HPDE 1, and hopefully after 6 months, HPDE2. i know already that the car has plenty of understeer. i hate understeer. what sway bars would you guys reccomend to run to reduce body roll and make the car more neutral? it will have Hawk HPS pads, stainless lines, and chinese rotors from NAPA. running on 205/50/16 falken 912's. id prefer not to do much to make the car ride harsher, as it is my wife and my long distance trip car, and my daily driver. so that leaves coil overs/ super stiff springs out for now.

so mainly, im asking about sway bar sizes and manufacturers, and other should do mods to make it work on track.

thanks
Michael

If you are keep the suspension stock ,go with the MP3 /MSP rear bar along with your stock front bar . it will cut your understeer making the car feel more neutral .

the suspension doesnt have to remain stock, just the ride quality. if it is possible to increase handlin without increasing ride harshness, im all for it. i was even thinking of possibly going with MSP springs, as i heard theyre not any harsher than the P5 stuff, but reduce ride height a little to lower the center of gravity. that will be after the sway bars, though.

will just the MSP rear bar make that much of a difference in the body roll and understeer, or by all rights should i go with a bigger aftermarket front and rear set to reduce the body roll and understeer even more dramatically?

The combo of the MSP/MP3 springs and rear sway bar makes a big differance , I have run this set up . it wasnt what what I was looking for so I added the MSP front sway bar along with the rear bar .Changed to Tein S tech spring and Tokico Hp's struts . I have also added the AXR clunk fit brackets , I now like how the car handles
