Suspension noise in 2024 CX-50 with 4k miles...Help!

Of course I didn't hear it on the test drive but after a couple of days of driving it I started noticing this clicking, popping sound when going over bumps in the road. Strange thing is it only does it after driving for at least 10 miles after sitting for a few hours. That has made it very hard for the dealership to diagnose and very frustrating for me having to get rides back and forth to the dealership. I put a microphone inside the fender well to record the noise and it definitely sounds suspension related. I really think it's the strut mounts and or bearings and thinking about just doing it myself. I am mechanically inclined. I can hear the noise coming from the front left and front right. No other symptoms. Has anyone else had this experience and was able to get it fixed? I've posted in all the CX-50 groups and other forum with basically no help.

Just an update for anyone that comes across this post in the future. I changed the strut mounts and strut bearings and my noise is completely gone. The parts that I took off looked perfectly fine so I'm not sure exactly what the problem was.

Thanks for the update.

Suspension noises can sometimes be troublesome to track down, sometimes easier. Glad to hear it's all gone now.

On my CX-5 at 128Kmi, it's still on the original shocks (mounts, bearing, arms and other bits). I'm sure that sometime in the next couple of years it'll benefit from a selective update on the more-likely candidates and any looking like they've taken a beating. No noises, for the moment. But the decade's young.
