Coilovers and normal springs, what are the differences besides the fact that you can change the ride height are there anything else you need to buy when you buy a set of coilovers? thanks.

The difference is adjustability (between springs and coilovers). And no, you dont need to buy anything else with coilovers, although a lot of folks like the Mazdaspeed 5-way ride damping struts.
There IS, however, a difference within both springs and coilovers for quality of ride and handling. Some lower your car and improve handling, some lower your car and turn the handling to s***. Search "quality", there's a thread somewhere on here about just that. People were rating the quality of ride for their respective springs.

I shouldn't really plug one product or another. people on this site have all three. eibach seems to tighten up the ride the most (better handling), but that may also make them the bumpiest under normal driving. So far no one has had any big complaints on this site about any of the three. I'd go for price, try to save a few bucks.
