Suspension Help

i didnt see that thread, but it seems like very useful information to me (confused)

ah, well then all these posts dont make much sense. you have to see them in context, but you cant since ceej deleted his other thread.

ceej deleted it because he was proven wrong.
Not completely wrong; yes, it is possible to lower the suspension too much. Fortunately I haven't seen this yet... Also, as chinaman stated, when changing your spring rate, it would be a good idea to have matching struts.

I would have said this before but it already turned into a flamefest

see but ceej seemed to change his point at the end when his initial point (that the p5 suspension cannot be improved upon by lowering it/ stiffening it) was met with overwhelming opposition and evidence.

only then did he seem to only care about a point that suspension can be stiffened/ lowered too much. which nobody really disputed.

no, ceej would have been perfectly fine if he just said "when lowering your car, do it right." but to take the example of an s2000 and compare it to a protege is just silly. then when alan brought up the more relevant point of the msp having the exact opposite of what ceej stated as necessary for better performance and handling, he went all apeshit and started getting all sarcastic. i thought it was funny, then i posted why the s2000 was revamped the way it was with a direct quote from motor trend. next thing i know, ceej posted in matthew's thread about how this forum is dead because of know-it-all kids like me. and now here we are...

Eh, in that case, Ceej has been to a SOLO II event, as I recall, he should see the effect that a nicely tuned suspension has. (wiggle)

I especially like how he doesn't grasp the concept of your screen name, and continuously spelled it wrong

i read the post and i can understand that he did get some total crap from very little immature pansy members.....but hey treat others the way you want to be treated....."what goes around comes around".....i can understand what you try to do ceej......but dont respond so negative......since you say you are 40yrs old why dont you really act like one?there are children on this board yes......but must you stoop down to their level? im 17 (maybe one of the youngest on this board) and i see myself as acting more mature then you in most cases im sorry....but it really is the truth.....as for this thread.....why bash him......he was just giving little information to suspension noobs!!....as to this continuing to his last thread yes i can see that but no need to carry on the problems from there to here.....GOD DAMN PPL FOOKING GROW UP! i love the boards but reading this crap from half the users makes me wanna cry

hahaha oh yes the comparing of the s2k to the protege right.....lmao....im sorry man but that was retarded....you should've read what you typed b4 you actually posted it........"when lowering your car you CAN GO TO FAR AND MAKE IT WORSE"
