I am looking to buy a MBC for my MSP. The only time I ever had one was when I bought one for my turbo corolla that I got off ebay and it was a cheap POS dud. So, I would like to know what the majority here is using and where to get one that works good, prices, etc.

I hear the Joe P is a good one to use. anyone using that? where and how much $? opinoins input suggestion etc welcome.

thanks

I'm picking up the JoeP one tonight... $30.
It should work well, but it's not going in the car until i get my coolant lines hooked up and my 2nd o2 sensor fixed (should be done on sunday)

I`ve tried many kinds,so far the turboxs is doing a great job.I recomend it.

didnt like Joepmbc -too much spike.....didnt like GFB-spool time was horrible....didnt like the ones in e-bay,kinda similar to joeblowpmbc one -way too much spike... On the other hand,my High performance turbo XS ******* rocks .You can set the boost on the coarse adjust, then you can fine adjust on the bleed screw.I love this MBC.My good friend gave my it from his srt-4.

I keep reading this and no person had said this one. Dawesdevises.com thats the one I have and I love it. I've had it on my probe at 17+psi on my friends eclipse at about 20psi and now at 8 on the protege. might try and check them out. most importantly $25.00 + shipping. hope this helps a cheap person as it did me.

Agreed.......The JoeP spikes and creaps way to much to be on the safe side (no)

You may even try a Hallman. Had good luck and STEADY boost all the way through! (cool)

I'm suprised to read that many of you guys had creep issues with your JoeP's. I used one on my MP3 and never saw spikes more then .5psi. Guess I was just lucky.

I have been using a Hallman Pro Rx with the fine tune spring for about a year and a half now. I haven't had any problems with it and it does really good on not spiking at all. Once in a great while it might spike a tad but its very rare.

I have a joepmbc and hate it.. Its spikes too much and sometimes I can adjust it all the way and is still at same boost level.. And with the weather change it changes.. Get a DNA one at **********.com

Get a 2 Stage MBC versus a single. You'll have boost on the fly and be able to keep your first stage at stock psi to protect the LSD an engine. You can filp on more boost as needed. There are many good ones out there. Depends on your budget range. I run two TurboXS DSBC's on my turbo cars. No problems whatsover with either one. You get a faster spool up and reliable boost with the unit.

once you get the turbo system breathing and pumping over 8-9psi I find the joeP mbcs will act up. my joeP has not worked out well at all, spike everytime, different psi at redline etc. but I guess you get what you pay for.

I stiil say turboxs is the best `ive tried so far maybe in the near future `i`ll buy one of those electronic ones.
