Strut tower bar, which one?

So I would like to know if anyone has first hand knowledge of which is better the Mazdaspeed bar or the Racing Beat bar that came stock on the MSP? The Mazdaspeed bar reminds me of the older DC Sports bars which where ehh blah. Thanks

The factory MSP strut tower brace is just a regular Mazda one, the Protege5s had the exact same one painted red instead of silver. I seriously doubt you will notice any difference if you change the STB to a different one.

Get one that looks cool. The oem one does look cheap. I got the Corksport one, but it was a lot of work to install... there are tons of little brackets you have to modify to make it fit. but it does looks sweet.

I always thought this one was pretty badass, but a pain to take in and out if you have do do any work underneath it.

Like I said, purely a cosmetic mod. This bar will function the same as the stock one.

Cool bar thats got to be pretty damn solid. Ah not lookin to buya bar but thank you for offering tho, I was just wondering about it really, I am a new guy to the Mazda scene. Still tryin to get acclimated with what "is & was" available plus the "rarities" to lookout for for the BJ chassis!

?Was the Mazdaspeed bar a catalog item or something?

Wait, you aren't looking to buy one but you want to know which one to buy? lol That bar in the picture may be aftermarket with a mazdaspeed decal on it, I have never seen one before and I doubt it is more solid than the stock bar.

I wouldn't beat my neighbors dog with that DC-MAZDASPEED-SPORTS whatever bar LOL I had meant to ask who made it and why would it be a better choice over the factory bar ^I really failed the original post,

I'm skeptical that this \/ would be an upgrade, its still just hinged nothing real solid

These would be a far better choice I would think, pretty much solid all the way across

^^^That is same bar I have FS...original one you posted is an eBay bar with a Mazdaspeed sticker...
