only good thing about kankakee if thats even good is the camping, its quiet sometimes and cheap, but man talk about downtown, complete s*** hole

yeah olivet.... camping there is ok.... turkey run or starved rock is way better... but yeah if i you just want some peace and quiet there is a nice campground out pased the kankakee state park next to a bridge over the river it's a nice spot

Hahaha, yes it is lol. I only went there to visit my sister who was going to college there on a scholarship for softball. And I know it's further south, which is why I said it would only be 8 hrs from where I am.
