I am wondering do they make a carbon fiber hood that looks just like a P5 stock hood

VIS makes the factory style carbon fiber hoods, you can find them on Ebay or on their site. DG Motorsports also makes a carbon fiber hood with the factory look, and it's on their website.... www.dgmotorsports.com And there's a company called Fiber Images that makes factory looking carbon fiber hoods as well. Also, depending on how much you are willing to spend, Ebay once in a while has these "B" Grade carbon fiber hoods with minor imperfections as they say, for sale that are pretty good priced. But yeah, you basically get what you pay for. Hope this helps.

I would only get those B grade cf hoods if I'm having to replace my hood, then get it painted anyways.

It be nice if the sellers of those B grade cf hoods show us exactly what was wrong with it, and price accordingly.

I was thinking that, or since my car is silver I wonder if anyone makes the silver carbon fiber version for the P5.

I don't think they do yet, but that is becoming more popular.....so maybe soon. Also, its not silver carbon fiber, it's actually fiberglass that is designed to look like cf. If you want a silver cf hood then get a cf hood and get it painted with a silver clear coat over it. You will still see the cf pattern but from a distance it will look like a silver hood. I have seen this done before with other colors and it looks killer.

Just make sure its a true cf hood. I have only seen the silver ones as fiberglass. There are red, blue, and I believe yellow( which is carbon/kevlar if I am right).

This shows some of the colors of the carbon fiber out there. Notice the silver is actually another type of material mixed with carbon fiber. This is the type of material you need to look for in the making of the hood.
