I have been thinking about getting a TL typeS and slapping on there kit.

How can that be if yours is already slipping NA? Unless of coarse those 6000 RPM clutch dumps have taken there toll.

big_ben said:I am amazed by the stupidity spewing from your head. Honda doesn't acknowledge those times because it is very harmfull to the transmition to dump the clutch at 6k rpm. You are just plain dumb. So what are you running, (hah)15.xx? Wow, that's fast!(rofl) (owned)

Big Ben has been here forever and knows his s***; both about proteges and the s2k; not to mention a ton of other stuff.
I felt the need to throw that in here.
Ok. If you say so.Flat Black said:Well, for a base price of 32k I could surely run better than a 14.xx. S2000=slow and pricey. Just like every other Honda out there.
I never "poopoo" on the MSP. I know it's a great track car(not drag car) for the money. But it is CERTAINLY not faster or anywhere near the 350Z or the S2000. End of story.servoeyes said:I understand this...I just wish he wouldn't poopoo the MSP every chance he gets. It's a damn nice little car for the money. Could it be better/faster/etc...sure. But's it's all subjective.
Also...yes...we sure as hell do have a limiter.
There is no such thing as a "Mugen" S2000. There are Mugen parts you can install on the S2000 including, header, CAI, ECU, thermostat, and other ugly body parts. But really and truely, the mugen parts don't really do that much for the S2000. They are pretty much just overpriced wastes of money. The header is probably the best thing and it only gives an extra 4 to 5hp at the wheels. But it saves about 20lbs which is very important with the S2000.deckedoutmp5 said:where i work there are 4 s2k's and the owners are dedicated honda fans, one drives a nsx also. 2 of them are mugens.
Uhmmm,.....no. Like I said previously, the S2000 in stock form is capable of times as low as 13.7 seconds in the 1/4mile.deckedoutmp5 said:stock s2k non mugens are low 15s there are a few that can pull better times just like with any car its driver and sometimes you get a wild car
He must not have been a good driver. I have raced Patrick(linuxracr) in his turbo MP3 and I beat him by a good car length and he even got a MUCH better start than I did. How do you explain that? You can't because S2000's are still faster than a turbo protege. The Protege would have to be pushing at least 230hp to the wheels, not the crank to be even with the S2000. Why,......weight and aerodynamics.deckedoutmp5 said:anyways, i have beat a mugen in my p5 and yes he tried all he had because i told him to meet me by 35 to race into work just to see.
I don't base my speed off of the 1/4 mile either. But 99% of these idiots do so I try to tell them the S2000 does the 1/4 in high 13's to very low 14's, and of course, they ignore it because they don't like what they are hearing.deckedoutmp5 said:i dont base my speed off quarter mile. running the quarter and running on the highway are way different. a viper is a fast car youd think, but it dont do good at the quarter, my friends mavrick with just a puny built 302 beat it at the track. now the viper didnt lose by much but my point is the viper wasnt built for speed it was built for s*** loads of FUN torque.
Speedy_Guy00 said:ok guys grow the hell up and drop it
is there anyway to get rid of that?
i don't spend alot of time at the track.
most of my time is out on the highway and i always bump that limiter
Speedy_Guy00 said:whats the noob?
Speedy_Guy00 said:ok dick, you wanna tell me where i can get rid of the limiter now
