STALLING like a MOFO

the BOV vac line is teed into the brake booster line. I just got some T-bolt clamps, the rest are the weak worm style that came with the kit So i will be replacing the rest of the with t-bolt style. I will continue to play with it. If the stalling does not get better then i will be forced to mod my hardpipe.

i have regular hose clamps. mine are fine.
you might have to have it recirculating to avoid stalling, or crank on the hardness of the bov some more

Thanks for the advice guys, i know now what options i have. I'll post my result tomorrow, to let you know if the stalling gets better. Thanks again

Well i drove my car to work today. I have never driven any car this careful. I think someones grandma got pissed and flew around me. Anyways my RPMS at idle are very low when its hot, like 4 to 500 rpms. Also it still wants to die if i go from high to low rpms to fast. Some guys here at Ford, think i could adjust my TP sensor. I'm going to hook up my laptop here, and see what the voltage is at the TP sensor. And i'm still going to tighten my BOV. Turbosmart sells a Dual port setup bov, that i can hook one side back into the CAI. Do you think that would help?

I would ,but i think that the kid i bought the car from has the part that i need so i can resurc. The dual port should have a horn on one side, then a port to resurc on the other side. But there is just a plate there, so its only blowing.

That rough idle thing you are talking about... don't worry about it too much. There are a lot of cars on here that do that including mine. As for the BOV thing, if you already have a BOV and am not interest in spending more money, just cut the pipe already and stick the MAF where it belongs LOL!

Just move the MAF!!! LOL!

i second that, your stalling issue will go away. i think i mentioned this at the beginning of this thread

If the BOV with the recirc works, then i will keep it that way. I really dont want to screw with the hardpipes, and maf..

i just purchased my FMIC kit and i am going to go with a blow-thru MAF setup.

when doing a blow-thru MAF setup post-compressor on the MSPs, is it pretty much just a cut-and-bolt in affair?

with my SVO, the VAM i had was 3.5" and my tubing was all 2.5" so i have to make a reducer-adaptor to install the VAM blow-thru style. is there aything special i should look for since i hate yet to do it?

mine idles low at 500-600rpm... and i don't even have a bov. just have what's stated in my sig.

Yeah find out what size piping your IC pipes are. The MAF is 2.75" so get two reducers from 2.75 to whatever, and make sure you have enough pipe clamps.

Straight forward

Nah, pretty straight forward stuff. The MAF is 2.75" OD. Adapt as necessary and reset the ECU.

With the FMIC, the heat is not even an issue with you. I am still using the SMIC, and the MAF does get pretty hot, but hasn't failed for anyone.

I Don't want to move my MAF! If i recirculate and the stalling stops, then thats all i'm going to do.

I was talking to DonSVO...

As for your situation, I understand why; you just bought those pipes, they look pretty and you don't want to cut them up.

The recirc will work fine. From what I have heard, the stalling is significantly reduced if not eliminated with the recirc.

Well i did recirc, and the problem is fixed. No more stalling!! But, the beloved Turkey is very loud when you recirc 100%. So if you don't want turkey, then your only choice it to move you Maf. Hope you get it working!
