I've read numorous posts in this thread about it looking stupid on a FWD, but what about the fact that the car's suspension was tuned for a specific sized wheel/tire combo and it could prove to be dangerous to change the geometry. Maybe not during everyday grandma driving, but if for some reason you need to react quickly to avoid some numbnut pulling into your lane, the car may not handle the way you'd expect it to. If you want something that looks cool, why not go wider all around? At least then you'll be able to rotate tires. I had an S2000 that came from factory with a staggered setup and it got abit expensive when I was on my 3rd set of tires in just over 40k miles, which may have been stretched abit if I were able to rotate them. I was running 225/45-17 in the front and 255/40-17's in the back. I went through my OE RE050's on that car in less than 20k, miles. Not cheap.
