When the forum went down this afternoon I thought for sure my company had blocked the url on me. They did this once already but since you guys have multiple domain names I can get around it.

Anyway, it reminded me of something. I know there is an overhead to running SSL but it would be nice for the people who are at work and don't want pesky network admins monitoring everything we read and post. Sure they can visit the site and view our messages but they won't see them pass by their packet filtering software since it would be encrypted.

Anyone else think this might be a good idea? Or am I just paranoid.

Paranoid...if you're really concerned then don't browse the forums at work. I know it's so tempting, and I check the board several times a day, but I don't make a habit of it.
