so i am gunna take the plunge and finally get a ssafc and was wondering if anyone would tell me which model to get? will the psc1-001 work? and is there anything else i should look into getting with it? another wiring harness or a better boost gauge or anything. i have a kose auto digital gauge of some sort.

aem extension harness to keep you from hacking into your engine harness, wideband, good map. you need to stick with buying one from protegegarage or off this forum I wouldn't trust anything else. will the psc1-001 work? you need the psc1-020 its has features speciffically designed for the msp

Do you mean the psc1-002? I was looking on the split second website and cant find anything on a PSC1-020.

EDIT: was just looking at the install instructions on this website and they do say PSC1-020.... but as i said before, cant find it on splitsec.com (split second website)

EDIT2: Submitted a question on the splitsec website about it. but if anyone knows here, please share! (yes)

split second doesn't list them on the site i believe because they are specific to the MSP, you don't really need any other wiring, but like jbrewer said the aem extension harness will keep from hacking up the ecu harness, however the extension harness is $250+, i say save that money and buy more mods then a bunch of wires

Agreed!!

From SS:

Jason,

Thank you for your inquiry. You can purchase the PSC1-020 from Split Second
by email or phone (949-863-1359) for $322. If you want the data acquisition
option, that adds $50 to the price.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Mark

Not sure what the data acquisition option is.

Got word back on the data acquisition option. Here is what they said:

<i>Jason,

The data acquisition option gives you four 0-5V inputs that you can view in real time or log in a data recording. The most common use is with a wideband AFR meter.

The attached tech note goes into more detail.

Here is the PDF they sent me about it:
