here is a video of my friend and I racing due to bordem. i think the video speaks for itself - we had fun. My SRT4 is stock with just 500 miles on it and my friends P5 had lots of work done to it! Very Fast!!! Enjoy.

the redlines in those cars are alot before ours...i didnt really teach him, i gave some pointers thats about it. The quality is good enough to tell whats going on.

that was with my full interior back in btw, so the 2480 weight i had before was destroyed. its probably back up to 2800 or so again =(, oh yea if you look the redline is 6k rpms i believe on the srt-4, im pretty sure people shift before that in those cars...not sure why you guys think he shifted early?

Yeah the redline in my car is 6200 - stage0 ... w/ a stage 1 upgrade that increases to 6500 and then w/S2 its up to 6700 .. or something like that.

I think if Jeff taught me to drive I wouldnt be able to drive the car as bad as I do - it would be worse. Ha! The best part of that whole night is Jeff was telling me how his car would tear mine up. LOL. His car in my opinion is faster - I was just lucky to keep up. Im sure we will be at it again - next time were bored.

You shifted right where the red started or even before. On the MSP, the red starts at 6500, but you can go to 7k. I'd assume the SRT4 is the same way.

you lose power if you go that high, such a waste...on msp dynos the power starts to drop off before 6500, therefore you should shifter before then.

lol redline you mean, u did pretty good for your first manual tranny race, how do you like the car so far? Does it live up to its name?

i know what redline is, however its 6200 like i said but the red starts at 6k - i said red stuff to refer to what Black Majik MSP was saying when he was talking about where his red starts for the MSP

The car is by far the most fun to drive car i have ever driven - the last stick car that i drove, like twice, was a Focus SVT - now that was a POS. This is def. worth the money. Just to make a little more clear, the SRT is my first OWNED manual transmission car and not first DRIVEN.
