Springs and Alignment?

I just finished putting on my 17" rims and made an appointment to have my spool springs installed next week at a local tire shop. If anyone can help me out, I have two questions.

1. Should I have the alignment done right away after the install or should I wait for the springs to settle?

I also did a search for alignment specs just in case the shop didnt have them.

2. Are the specs for the protege 5 with 16" rims going to be the same if I have 17" rims and if so will these specs change after its lowered?

As for when you should do it, give it a week or so before going for an alignment. The second question I have no idea.

The backs are what take the most time to settle. You can load up the back with 100-200 pounds of weight for a day or two and then take it in (with the weight out of course).

What about the camber on our cars? I'm getting Eibach springs, and the alignment I know about, but my old Honda's camber went quite negative when I lowered it, and wore out the inside edge of my front tires. Does the camber remain good on our cars?

Does someone make a camber correction kit?

Thanks,
Ryan

it can take upto 2 month for the back to fully settle. He's having the rears made differently, so that's no longer the case.
