** Spring Buyer's Guide **

i didnt read through all of this and im a noob on rates etc for springs. i have the espelirs right now and im looking for somthing stiffer in the future. the numbers seem kinda high, so does that mean i want lower numbers?

i was just wondering have anyone tired the TEIN H-Tech springs front 1.3 Rear 0.3? and is that the actual spec for the H-tech for the MSP??? id like to eliminate the front wheel well gap and the rear to be the same as stock or a little higher but stiffer...i have 18inch deep rims 215/40/18 tires on with the DGM widebody. The rear tires tend to rub on the wheel well when i turn corners...

hey;

Just installed a set of Sprint Springs 2" drop prgressives with tokico illuminas. With the settings at 2 front 3 rear the car drives as smooth as stock on most roads. I'm sure at 1 and 2 it would ride exactley like stock. Great spring quality and appearance. Springs are cold bent so there is no heating. Car is very stable through the corners and my braking has improved greatly

question why on tein site the stech is front 1.8 inch drop ant rear 1.5 inch drop for a proteg5 and here the sring bayer guide told 1.5 inch drop on front and 1.8 inch drop on rear?
what is the real drop 1.5 fr and 1.8 rear or 1.8 front andd 1.5rear?

most likely 1.8 front and 1.5 rear. thats the way most of them are, more drop in the front

So mp3 and msp springs are different do they both lower the same anyone know? Also what is the difference in the diameter on the sways I want to measure mine and see the which ones they are. Im thinking I have msp springs and mp3 sways. I dont want it to sit any higher in the front with the msp springs.

thanks

Just thought i should mention a correction to the Ground Control spring rates. I just ordered some and confirmed twice with Stan at GC that the stock spring rates are 350lb front/ 250lb rear.
Right now it shows 215rear, I asked Stan about this and he said 'no way would be put springs that soft on, they are 250 not 215".

thanks for all the new info for updates.

Revs- I especially like the update on the CG rates, 'cause I thought they were 225, even though i had 215 listed.

I'll be updating the list tonight.

here is my set-up:
Eibach Sportlines with Toyo Proxes4's (215/45/17)
