I've owned numerous MX5's over the years and have loved the mazda brand. I have just recently bought a 2017 Sport Nav 3.
Afger having jacked the car up for the first time, I have noticed that on both sides, there seems to be trim missing? The image above captures it well enough. White clips run right alone the sides of the sill and it looks like there was a skirt or something there before.
I can't find the part online though and I am unsure of it even came standard with the car or if it was a modification done by a previous owner.
Car is under warranty from the dealer (independent), but has a mazda used warranty on it also. I have owned the car for 5 days so I am within the 30 day refusal window if I so choose (Consumer Rights Act 2015 UK), so my thinking is that if there is trim missing, the dealer is liable to replace it.
I would greatly appreciate if someone could chime in and shed light on the situation for me.
