I took my car into day just to get some bolts loose on the struts so I could put in my new spool springs and the mechanics were strongly advising me to not put these springs in. They mentioned drivetrain problems would occur in the future. Is this true???

I don't see how this could occur just by lowering the car. Please let me know guys.

Cheers,

As long as the springs are installed properly and you have the car aligned afterwards, you really shouldn't have any issues. From what i've seen, the Spool springs are not agressive enough of a drop to really cause any suspension or drivetrain issues.

I haven't had any drivetrain problems in the 5 months the springs have been on my car. It's only a 2" drop, nothing too agressive. weird mechanics...
