No kidding - I was surprised ya'll never caught up with us again!! Guess we are crazy drivers!!! LOL
We drove from about 1pm - 6:30/7
It's a long story, but basically when we came around a sharp 90 degree turn at 60mph, I think she just freaked; because if you saw the turn you would NOT expect a couple cars come flying around it as fast as we did and she just went off the road!! Definitley WILD!!
Drive back wasn't as bad I expected. Once the gang peeled off it cleared up around Fredricksburg. Got a great shot of an elite soccer mom mobile too! Almost hit the car next to me though when snapping the photo.
lemme just say driving 2 hours to get down there, spend about 20 minutes at the shop taking pics of the cars, and then leave and take another 2 hours to drive home, well, sucked
but I did take some nice pics, I may post a few up later.
I did a U TURN to go back and try to take a picture of my burn out with both front tires spinning. I stop to take a picture and cop was behind me so I did not get a chance to take it. How come Virginia people drive under 65MPH. I passed several people on the shoulder got tired of waiting for them to get out of the way. They were doing 45 MPH in the fast lane go figure. OH YEAH IT WAS SUNDAY.
Thanks Terry for the Open House. SUB was great. S2000 People are really nice. Not like the civic crowd at all. Oh still between your turbo system and all motor.
The CAI rocks. . .
I drove through the night mind you, but I was running less rich (per EGt and butt dyno). . .didn't lose power despite driving for 15 hours straight. . .bunch of other little things, but it made a noticeable difference (still not sure why, because I didn't think it would help too much). Stay tuned I guess.
By the way If I haven't said it yet, BIG props to Terry and the Spool crew!!! That meet was the shiznit! Thank you for all the info and suggestions you gave me for the ghost. Im looking foreward to driving overthere BOOSTED next time.
