Spool Open House!

aw man i wish i could come... but i live over here, and the event is over there... man i love zaino. i'm relatively close to LA Zaino. that stuff makes the paint like a mirror. terry, you need to open a west coast spool shop, nothin too big just maybe a place to install and sell stuff. I would really love that.

Hahaa....yeah I live off old gun so I see you on Robious all the time:)

Nice, Old gun can be fun with the twisties. Personally Taking Robious towards where 288 is going in is my favorite spot so far for checking out the MP3 handling.

Count me in for the BBQ, I'll be back from vacationing by then.

Yeah, yeah, dyno. . .

Anyway, if I make it for the open house (which I should), I'll make it for the caravan on Saturday as well. Just have to decide if I'm bringing the wife now. Hmmm. . .what's the status of the dancing girls? :D Not that she'd care anyway.

There's a road that runs into Point of Rocks Park (between Chester and Enon) called Snake road that is absolutely awesome and scary. That would be an excellent test of some MP3 suspension. Also, the road runs along side a pond that is supposed to be haunted.

I will definately have to head there once I get my new tires :D

You need to show me this road:cool:

Hey Terry,

Some mazda dealers are installing your kits (like that one in OH), how about the NOVA area? What's the steps in order for us to get them to install & warranty the kit? Oh that would be awesome (FMIC!:D)

It is okay. Not really a big deal, except right now it is a little water-logged! The other day I tried to go down it to get over to Jeff Davis Hwy and it was closed down. Flooded out completely right past the Point of Rocks park. There are some better roads then that to explore around here. Right now my mind is all bogged out though, Monday morning blahs and my daughter is teething! I know there are some great roads to really go out on in like King William county. Plus the locale is so poor that you don't have to worry about 5.0 getting ya. Montpelier has some too. Really any backroads in VA has some good testing ground. Chesterfield has a few too.
Oh and the bs about the pond. Urban myth man! Urban myth.
On a funny note, I have a cute story about when I was 14!
I went there with some friends of mine and they did the stuff of stopping on the little bridge there and saying whatever it is that you are supposed to say and then got back in the car. Anyways the car would start (that is the myth that your car won't start and the ghost chick is supposed to come get). Well the idiot in the driver's seat didn't have it in gear. He got all worked up over the myth that he didn't know what he was doing. It was great to see this big football player become a little pansy-ass!

LOL there is a myth like that in Burke Virginia off of Fairfax County Parkway known as the Bunny Man. Same story that cars won't start, ghosts etc.

Yeah,

A friend at a dealership told me that there is a Dealer in Ohio that is installing Spool Kits and covering them under the mfg's warranty.

Is this true Terry? :D

holy crap! you know exactly what I'm talking about. I always thought the road was fun, but a little too short. You can't deny that there are some nice on and off camber twisties. So, the ghost story is probably false but, who cares? It's good fun to try to scare yourself. BTW, what high school did you go to? what year did you graduate?

Oh, and I've heard about the bunnyman ghost story too. Again, probably not true, but still freaky as sh!t.
