ALMOST DONE!! Just a little more wiring, re installing the axles and wheels, routeing the vacuum lines to the BOV and WGA and tapping the fuel line for the gauge
IT LIVES HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Thats me sitting in the drivers seat! The fuel system hadn't primed thats why it didn't start right away. The fuel leak was where I have the gauge sender fitting. Don't worry I've already fixed it. And yes the exhaust is dumping at the downpipe (headbang). Oh and I named the project Fast Orange because the car is obviously orange and the amount of fast orange hand cleaner I used during this build.
It's the Corksport FMIC that I had the BOV flange welded on, painted the whole system semi-gloss black and wraped the cold pipes and painted that black as well with silicone sealant
And to SeR_Cyclops I have to break in the engine for 500 miles before I can rip down the street
I just had the exhaust attached to the down pipe this morning. Gonna try to get a drive by vid or somthing. Yeah I think I might go down to Corksport in Vancouver WA to put some mles on it and also show them how my exhaust shop had to fix their 80mm exhaust to get it to hang right! Seems when they added the cat they didn't realign the mid pipe flange in the correct spot cost me $45 extra on top of the downpipe flex install so it ain't a big deal but the tip melted my bumper a little bit before I pulled the motor too. I think I might go on friday. Haha
You ask I supply. Here are some driveway vids. One of the interior and one of the exhaust note. On the first vid the trip odometer says 89.2 that is how many miles I've put on it since the build
And here was the "click" from the piston actually tapping the crank because the bent rod changed the clearances. I think I was lucky as hell it never threw that rod.
