i'm thinking of getting some 17x7 konig blatant wheels with kuhmo ecsta supra 712 rubber. speedandstyle.com has them for a decent price and i was wondering if anyone has had any experience (good or bad) with them? any other vendor recommendations would be appreciated.

also, any comments of the wheel/tire choice would also be appreciated. thanks.

I have a couple friends at speedandstyle and i think they are good. The warehouse is right by my house so if you have any problems when you order with them just let me know.

here's what the BBB had to say..."Based on BBB files this company has an unsatisfactory record.
Specifically our files show a pattern of failure to eliminate
basic cause of complaints regarding refunds as promised and a
pattern of failure to respond to customer complaints brought to
their attention by the Bureau. "

makes me want to think twice

i know a girl who has a set new and is selling. tire and wheel combo for $1,ooo they are 18x7or7.5 not sure how thick the wheel is

one more question...

i thought i had seen somewhere that the offset for the 17x7 Blatant wheel is +45, but i can't seem to find that site. I've emailed Konig, but haven't heard back yet, so i was just wondering if anyone knew the correct offset, or if you know any good resources where i could find the info?

The Blatants are pretty heavy aren't they. Wouldn't make sense to get a lighter wheel for the same price as the Blatant. Not to mention that Blatant aren't exactly an attractive wheel to begin with. Sorry if I pissed anyone off, but it only my opinion.

well, to each his own about the styling. as for the weight, the 17's are listed at 18.14 lbs which (and i'm not an expert) i think is fairly good, no?

ps...still looking for the offset...

Yeah you are right man, each to his own, but I personally can't consider 21lb for a 17 to be light weight. But weight is a concern of my own when looking at new wheels, and I wouldn't expect others to be concerned about the same thing when shopping for wheels.

:)

I bought my wheels from www.speedandstyle.com I purchased them about a week ago and they came three days after ordering them. They were nicely packaged with a nylon cloth covering every wheel so that they are not scratched. I thought that was different. Anyway the guy I dealt with was Robb. So I had a pleasant experience with them. So give them a try. The customer service is very good. Just my $0.02

Rob is one of the guys i know. He is very good and has hooked me up a lot when he worked in the wholesale division. Now that he is in retail i don't deal with him anymore but he is a cool guy.

i had a problem with them a while ago over spark plug wires..they never shipped them..and finally after like 30 calls and 2 1/2 weeks they refunded my money...that was about a year ago though...dont know how they are now..i steer clear of them..
