Headunit display finally went out. Sounds works, but no display. time for an upgrade!

There is a ribbon cable replacement procedure to fix the screen but honestly at this point repairing an 11 year old stereo compared to buying a brand new unit simply doesn't make sense.

Exactly why i bought a brand new one last night and had it FedEx'd overnight. should be arriving today! Sucks the display crapped out, but was a perfect excuse for my bank account to purchase a new head unit.

Understandable, but in my case this is my only car and I know im going to have it for a while lol

Replaced it with Kenwood DDX470. Don't miss it one bit!
