Spark Plug Upgrade???...HELP!!!

I have a 2.3L Mazda 3S with Tiptronic, and I want to get Denso Iridium Spark Plugs.
I was wondering if anyone has upgraded theirs, how do they effect the cars performance, whats a good brand, and most of all CAN I INSTALL THEM MYSELF???

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the car rolls off the assembly line with Denso Iridiums already in it.

Denso is good brand and yes, you can install them yourself.

IIRC, the MZ3s come off of the line with NGK Iridiums, which are every bit as good as the Densos.

To the OP: If you don't have at least 45K miles on the engine, changing out the plugs would be a total waste of $$$$.
