I think I saw you on saturday on 170th Vega. I was with my ex-gf and I was telling her how rare of a car the MSP was and then all of a sudden you drove by and she pointed out a orange msp with black wheels and that made me look like an ass cuz she thought I was jus trying to brag about how cool my car was.

Nope wasn't me. I was playing nurse to my sick wife and hanging out with my kid all weekend . I was there the weekend before it though. If you guys can make the May 13th Mazda meet up on Mt St helens I'll be there.122 Vega said:

I was in the Best Buy parking lot, I think it was Thursday or Friday, I was going to Starbucks. No, wait it was Saturday but it was just afternoon I think. I just got my AFC installed and spent and hour soaking up water from under the pass. carpet (1/2" deep. Can't find the leak, might be the heater core again.) But the AFC is great except for the idle probs that hopefully will be cured tomorrow.
505 I didn't see you, that is weird. I did have a yellow MSP with a young blonde driving it pull up next to me and tease me for a mile or two, but she went South, and I had to come to work.

I will check my schedule to see if I can go to the meet, I haven't been up there for years. That would mean I'd have to wash my car though...something I haven't done in at least six weeks.
My excuse? worked 13 12 hour shifts in the last 14 days. So I will be a happy boy come this Friday!

I bought a Silver MSP about 2 weeks ago. I think I have the 13th off and hope to make it to the st. helens thing.

Maybe a get together after one of the autocrosses. April 23rd Stock and Street Touring run in the morning, could do lunch after that.
As far as the Mt. St. Helens thing goes, I though it was in April for some reason. I will just request it off, so I'll go for that. Maybe my Brother will come and bring his Mazda 3.

that car looks familiar. does he autox that?
Yeah he does, he did really well last year in it, but the first event this year he placed fifth, but the car is stock except for Eibachs. He has swaybars on the way now.
He has different wheels on it now, some kind of TSW for the street, he uses the ADRs for the track only.

Yeah he has a 76 Toyota Corona that is all riced out. But it has 13" Wilwoods, Racing BEat Miata swaybars, Bilsteins, custom trailing arms and a bunch of other cool suspension tricks. We are putting a 1JZMTE (is that right? 87-88 Supra turbo) in it with the five speed soon.

I'm in the process of moving back to SW this month. The new place is probably a 5 min drive from Sykart.
Yeah, we should have a meet. Something smaller and localer (I don't think that's a word). I'm hoping that St. Helens thing will be cool and have a nice turn out. This area is just so freakin weak for this kind of thing.
I wish I had a house w/ garage so we could do install meets. Speaking of.... It's brake day. :-D
