Sooo I finally did it...

About a year and a half ago I bought some pretty messed up Speed6 wheels for a steal with the intention of doing some paint repair, however I never got around to it and I was quite nervous to mess them up as I have never done anything remotely like this before. The wheels had gashes and yellow curb marks on them. Despite my embarrissment I have been driving around on them, because, honestly, I love the look of the Speed6ers.

Two days ago, however, I did muster up the energy and courage to try my hand at this. For someone who has never held a spray paint can in his life, (not to mention has horrible luck with DIY jobs) I think they came out fairly well!

They appear to have turned out pretty good. Besides, if they looked as bad as you described anything would be better right.
 
Thank you both. I appreciate the kind words. I am going to mount them tonight. Letting them bake out in the sun today before the storm tomorrow and Sunday.
