wreck my other daily driver last week and jumped into the ms3. this is my first mazda car and i am impressed by the quality and engineering in and out. the damping and sping could be a tad bit more on the performance side, so i know this area will be my first mod. my previous car had a set of koni yellow wrapped around some h&r springs so i am sort of spoiled. i have already clocked up 500 miles and it's been nothing but impressive. the pain't job is top notch too...can't say enough. this car has truly bi-polar performance.

Glad your enjoying it!! You might want to think about upgrading your rear motor mount and shifter bushings. Those two things will really tighten up the feel of the car for ya. (drinks)

I'll take it one step further:

paint job top notch? That is the first time I have ever heard someone say that. My paint is orange peeled and chips easily

well after 11k miles...here is goes. i take back the paint job comment. it does chip easy and not much clear coat at all. its gotten a few new rock pecks that i have had to use touch up paint. i have been pushing the car on a daily basis...work, soccer practice, out of state a few times. the dampers are getting worn out quickly. the louisiana roads have probably contributed. the gears are not going in as easy in all gears. getting ready to do the dog bone, shifter bushings, and royal purple syncromax this weekend. also have a set of koni's on order from jeff@tri-point. when i get those installed i will probably mess around and try to get some more camber in the front. i think i will be happier once these upgrades are installed.
