Does anybody know what kind of paint or film would be best used for smoking-out the tail lights? I`ve done a couple of searches and came up w/ nothing. Any help or ideas anybody has would be great.:)

hope not. i just did it to my side turn signals and bumper lenses last week. I'll be getting around to the tail lights soon.

The product so far is GREAT. no complaints

Hey if you PM Funwagon or AllMan I'm pretty sure both of them have their lights done.

how dark does this actually make it?
just wondering...

Depends on how many coats you put on. More coats means darker tint obviously.

and to z00mer: Alot of people use a couple of coats of clearcoat to prevent fading, flaking or chipping.

Any body have pics of this done to front and rear lights??? Also, is it illegal in most states? Gotta ticket you for doing some thing different to your car! GRR!!

Mp3wannabe's car, u can ask him for more pics ;)

Doing his is illegal. Notice the *For off-road use only* on the bottom of the link page. It looks badass though. Any pics of it done to a P5?

This was my weekend project today. Here are a few pics on my P5....

thumbs down from me...no offense to anyone cause everyone is doing good work, but its TOO dark, like those plastic covers you can buy...

I think this would only look good on a black or white protege....It's all about your own personal preferance. ;)
