Smoke coming from the hood when its raining

I just got my MS3 earlier this week and when i parked my car after driving home from work, theres some smoke coming from the top of the hood. Is the MS3's hood suppose to be this hot that causes it to produce smoke when it gets wet???

I did a search and didnt find anything about a smoking hood when its raining..

Depending on how much you drove and how hard, the hood may get hot enough. But it's rare that it would 'smoke'. I've seen it 'smoke' after washing the car on a hot sunny day and that's it.

I didnt drive her hard...just normal driving and shifting mostly at 3k rpms...i popped the hood and there was no smoke in the engine bay...

Steam. Snowing in Germany now. Happens on all hoods of every started car around here. I wouldn't worry.
